During the public renditions of the residency in Morocco, Yoko sang “Hotaru Koi” with “Les Mamans Douées”, a traditional Japanese song that she had taught them during the workshops in Dar Bellarj. A few days after a restitution in the district of M’hamid, where Espace L’Moutalâte is located, organizer of this residence, I was surprised to hear behind my back the voices of these little ones calling out to me while singing this song that they have memorized so well, despite having heard it, and sing with the public, only once.
